A small but very cozy restaurant. Really awesome food experiences like grilled grapes with pastry for desert as example. Highly recommend to taste the octopus as well. Awesome experience and looking forward to the next time - and thanks for the nice wine recommendation

I love this place for its atmosphere - you’re sitting amongst beautiful architecture and greenery in a tranquil Amsterdam street. Service is good, with attentive staff. Wine selection is also very good and extensive. When it comes to food, the combination of ingredients is good , the menu is well put together but the portions are really really tiny. Though Holland is known for small portions, this is really small. You’d have to order 2-3 main dishes next to an appetizer to have a proper meal. And it’s not a food sharing concept…I believe this leave a customer unsatisfied because either they didn’t eat well or they had to spend much more money than the menu would suggest. Perhaps an approach is to have a sharing portion or for few extra bucks a normal size main course portion. The beautiful place like this one deserves to have top noch food too.

Excellent Christmas Eve dinner! We went as a family of four, started with the tuna, burrata, bread, and olives. Moved to the roasted cauliflower, short rib, tournedos, and lentils for mains. Presentation was nice, flavors were excellent, and the dishes were cooked precisely. The chef came out to say hello, it was a lovely evening.

Oh my goodness, this must be my all time favourite restaurant / wine bar in Amsterdam! Both times I’ve been here the service has been exquisite, food and menu is mind blowing in my personal opinion and taste and the selection of champagne, wine and prosecco is just brilliant. I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a place where good service still exists and if you want a beautiful, intimate ambience. Cote de beuf was sooo so good and how happy I am to see Malva cake on the menu. Thank you!

Amazing restaurant! Great assortment of Wine, classic (french inspired) dishes, but elevated to a really high level, especially considering the prices! Highly recommend this place!

Excellent place to eat. We were staying nearby so we stopped in for dinner. Very friendly staff. They have a great wine list. The food is top notch. Great place to relax and enjoy a great meal and drinks. Octopus was excellent. Scallops were amazing.
